Eni Pakistan is the operator of Bhit, Badhra and Kandanwari gas fields and many other on-shore and off-shore exploration licenses and is currently the largest producer of hydrocarbon in Pakistan.

We are looking for a self motivated candidate havin following qualifications and experience to fill the position of Reservoir Engineer based in our Karachi office.

The Job:

To perform the resrvoir engineering part of field evaluations, together with other team members such as geologist, driller, business developmnt staff, economist and construction/operations team.

To monitor wells and field performance post-project and recommend well interventions as required, maintaining / enhancing field productions in collaboration with petroleum engineers by integrating well test interpretations and well performance evaluation.

To prepare field monitoring guidelines, new and repeated well test design and programs in order to ensure proper surveillance specifically production logging, well diagnostics and saturation monitoring.

To build and quality check reservoir material balance / simulation models and interpret simulation results and provide input for classical reservoir management of fields.

Reserves evaluation and technical profiles using industry standard practices and reservoir models incorporating geological understanding of the the fields.

To contribute to feasibility studies including preparation and optimization of field development scenarios.

To handle reservoir engineering aspects of field development plan preparaton and implementation.

To prepare scopes for reservoir studies, evaluate technical proposals and handle the studies performed by 3rd party.

To prepare technical presentations and write technical reports.

Qualifications:

Graduate Petroleum Engineering

Experience:

At least 7 years experience working in the similar capacity in a reputable oil and gas company. Candidates should be fullly conversant with basic reservoir engineering tools like PVT, material balance, nodal analysis and well test interpretation and should have a high level of proficiency with Eclipse Simulation Software.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and presentation skills along with strong proficiency in written and spoken English.
