Site Civil Engineer
BSc (Civil Engineering) from a recognized institution with 5 to 8 years experience in civil works related to upstream petroleum industry e.g. drilling rig foundations, access roads, buildings construction etc. Prepare BOQs design, tender and contract documents for civil works related to oil and gas sector. Responsible for fulltime supervision of civil works. Oversee the execution of fabrication, construction, hookup, and mechanical completion of the structures and facilities. Monitor and appraise contractor construction activities and performance. Determine corrective actions needed in order to meet project objectives and work to have these implemented so that deadlines are met. Report progress, performance, initiatives, issues, and challenges to Project In-charge. Administer the negotiation and execution of the contracts. Candidate should have knowledge of earth moving machinery and must have experience incase PEL decides to undertake the civil works project by itself.
